Celebrating 30 Years of Faithful Service: YPG Living Hope Congregation
The Young People’s Guild (YPG) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Living Hope Congregation, Sepe Buokrom, joyfully celebrated its 30th Anniversary, marking three decades of unwavering faith, service, and impact in the church and community.
Under the theme “30 Years of Faithful Service: Embracing Our Missionary Legacy as Youth” (2 Timothy 4:5), the week-long celebration brought together members, alumni, and well-wishers to reflect on God’s goodness and renew their commitment to service.
The anniversary activities began with an inspiring launch service, setting the tone for a spirit-filled week. This was followed by a series of impactful programs, including a revival themed “Faith to Ignite,” which reignited spiritual passion and strengthened the faith of participants through powerful messages, prayer sessions, and worship.
As part of the celebration, the Guild also organized a skills and empowerment session, equipping members with practical knowledge in local beverage production such as sobolo, coconut juice, and pineapple juice, alongside valuable entrepreneurial insights to promote self-reliance and innovation among the youth.
The week also featured moments of fellowship, reflection, and community engagement, highlighting the Guild’s commitment not only to spiritual growth but also to holistic development.
The celebration was climaxed with a vibrant Thanksgiving Service, where members expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for His faithfulness over the years. This was followed by a joyful Thanksgiving Feast, bringing together members and guests in unity, love, and celebration.
As the YPG looks ahead, the focus remains on building upon its strong foundation—raising young people who are spiritually grounded, mission-minded, and equipped to make a meaningful impact in society.
The Guild expresses profound appreciation to all ministers, leaders, alumni, sponsors, and members whose support, dedication, and sacrifices made the celebration a success. Indeed, the past 30 years have been remarkable, and the future holds even greater promise.
To God be the glory!
